Surrender Scheduling
Due to the high volume of surrender requests, we may place you on a wait list until we have a spot available. We are only able to help residents in our county, Huron county. Please be patient with us, as we can not guarantee how long it will take for a spot to come available.Once we get a spot available, we will call you to schedule an appointment.
Temperament & Medical Assessment
When you come in for your scheduled appointment, we will do a temperament test to look for any aggression. We can not accept an aggressive animal or any animal with a bite history. We will also do a medical assessment, to assess their immediate medical needs. Once your animal passes each assessment, we will have you complete the surrender paperwork.
Paperwork & Fees
The surrender paperwork consists of a release form and personality profile, to help us better match your animal with their fur-ever home. After the paperwork is complete, we will process the surrender fee and give you a chance to say goodbye. Our surrender fees are as follows:
Surrender Fees
$60 for non-spayed/neutered dogs & cats
$40 for spayed/neutered dogs & cats (with PROOF of procedure from vet).
